Random Kanji Tester - Notes

My javascript isn't very good yet, so I had to browse the web to find freeware javascript for generating random content.

I've used a script from bloke.com, written by Cameron Gregory and amended slightly to prevent the filename of the kanji picture popping-up on mouseover - which kind of gives the game away.

This script is particularly suited to my needs because it can cope with any number of items. Also it's the only one I found which copes with holding a different link with each image.

I'd like to modify this as my scripting powers grow within me... ahem... sorry... I'd like to be able to make sure that the script doesn't come up with the same kanji twice in a row, or maybe have it come up with ten different kanji at a time, stuff like that.

Also I'd like to be able to iterate the script to come up with the next kanji without re-loading the page - but I don't know if that's even possible. Plus I'd rather have the kanji data in an array, not just one very long text string.

If anyone out there is handy with javascript and fancies helping out, they should contact me at kanjisite@yahoo.com

Meanwhile, what are you waiting for? Get back to the action.
